I’m very please with the service here at Kia Nirthstar!! As a member of service for EMS, military veteran and police candidate I can assure you that the manager Edwin the mechanic Ivan are 5 star employees and so is the company as a whole. They changed my rotors they cleaned my tanks changed my liquids even adjusted the break pads that I got done somewhere else that were not properly placed or greased. They lubricated my break pads even though I didn’t get the break pads here. And told me that they were not original although the place I got them at told me they were. These people are the best. I’m very happy. They also tried to replace my switch but I got the switch in eBay and it was the wrong one they told me to come back anytime when I have the correct switch once I get my refund for it. They even offered to order me the right switch themselves. Come to this dealership to buy a car or perform services in your car worry free! They even did a computer update on my car for anti theft. This is the place to come to!!

They’ve got plenty of inventory if you’re looking for that Telluride. Ask for ISAIAH in sales. He’s patient, professional, forthright with the numbers and available trims, and will get on the phone with your insurance agent if they’re confused about what the dealership needs. This was the second time I was there and the staff and the mechanics as well. The was very help told me what needed to be done and explained the tasks. Very pleasant, knowledgeable and friendly. I started my journey 6 weeks ago. After hitting up every dealership in metro New York, I discovered that there wasn't a single Sportage Hybrid SX on the planet, much less one in Vesta Blue. Then one day I discovered a literal flood of SX Hybrids showing up at Northstar on KIA's inventory site. I ran there the next day, met Orlando, and the last Vesta Blue became mine! On a more serious note, Orlando provided great service and was knowledgeable around demonstrating features. Ask for him and you can't go wrong!

Since last year, I’ve been looking to upgrade and had my eyes set on the Telluride SX Prestige. I was coming from a base model 2019 Nissan Rogue and wanted my new car to have more features. I visited many Kia dealerships around the city. The SX Prestige was hard to find as many dealers had limited supply and color options. Northstar Kia was my last stop. I called and spoke to Anthony. I was fortunate to get him as a salesman! He was extremely knowledgeable. He treated me like a friend and best of all, he kept it real! The entire process was smooth. There were no games or tricks during this transaction! Seriously…..NO BS! After making an appointment, I arrived at the dealership and was amazed at the variety of cars they had. They have a much larger selection than many of the other Kia dealers in the area. Anthony worked with me. He was honest, friendly and made sure he got me EXACTLY what I wanted and never tried to sell me anything else. Not only did I get the specific car and trim I was looking for, but he also got me a great deal on my lease term. I’ve bought cars from other dealerships in the past. Those experiences left me sad and frustrated as they screwed me over. This time was very different. It was all positive! I couldn’t believe how fast and easy the entire process was. I love my new Telluride! I’m very satisfied with my experience at Northstar Kia. Anthony is the best! Please shop at Northstar Kia, and ask for Anthony! You won’t be disappointed.

I had a great experience buying my car here. I was helped by Ragine -( I highly recommend her!) throughout the process and I got the car that I wanted. Employees that I came in contact with during the process were friendly - I even had a chance to meet the manager of the dealerships as well who seemed nice. They didn't have a wide selection of cars so the first time I went in, I requested Regine to get back in touch with me when they got the car I wanted. About 3 days later she got back to me when they had the vehicle on the lot, I came in for a test drive, and to complete the purchase then. Because I got a recently released 2023 model car - options were very limited. However, in general they didn't seem to have many car options/trims on the actual lot.

I recently brought my Kia in to Northstar Kia for servicing. My Service Advisor was Cosimo and he was professional, friendly and very helpful. He even recommended a great restaurant close by to get a bite to eat while I waited for my car. It was ready on time and I found Cosimo had my EV charging while it was being worked on. He went over and above and it was greatly appreciated.

Very friendly and accommodating service! Was readily helped and happy with the process. No one tried to upsell or push me and respected my intentions. From start to finish with test driving, negotiation, registration, insurance, and financing it took about 3 hours, which is typical/fast for purchasing a new vehicle. Very relieved they could store the vehicle for me for a week due to my situation, which had been concerning to me before going to the dealership. Ray answered all my questions competently and proficiently. I wish I could service my vehicle at this dealership regularly because of great rapport with them but will be moving out of state. All salespersons were very friendly and approachable! Overall great experience

We came here because we saw the good reviews. We worked with Orlando, who was enthusiastic, energetic, and kind. We were able to quickly walk away with a 2023 Kia Sportage Hybrid (Steel Gray). Orlando made the process easy and straightforward, which was appreciated. Everyone here was nice & accommodating but I’d highly recommend you make an appointment in advance because there can be a bit of a wait (but even then, be prepared to spend a few hours here). Scheduled tires and axle to be replaced. The agent who helped me said he wouldn't be in on the day I was coming in for service but would have parts ordered and there for that day, unfortunately parts were not ordered and not there when I got there. Long story short, cosmo came to the rescue and said he couldn't make any promises but would try his best to get it all done that day. Sure enough everything was done by end of business day I was very happy with everything, they went above and beyond great job.

We initially went to Northstar Kia dealership just as a chance to test drive a car we potentially wanted, and at the end came out with a dream car with exactly the trim we were looking for at the best price we could've have asked. Jordan took extremely good care of us, both in allowing us to sit in and test drive multiple vehicles as well as diligently searching for the best trim available in their lots and most importantly working with us on the price that made everyone happy. I can not recommend Jordan enough to anyone who steps into this Kia dealership. We definitely will be returning customers and will recommend the dealership to anyone looking for a new car. Jordan was the best dealership salesman I have ever experienced, calm, friendly, not pushy or uptight.

JORDAN is AMAZING! We got our car on the spot with him same day and would highly recommend him to all friends and family. Jordan was extremely knowledgeable and patiently went over the best options to fit our ideal car needs. He listened to our concerns and made sure we were comfortable and confident in our decision. Jose was amazing! Yesterday was the day I chose to shop for a car and I had received a pre approval and began my hunt. I was also the target of a lot of sales agents. Jose made me feel comfortable, assured me the whole way through the process. Jose picked me up from the Bronx and we drove to this location. I was able to trade in my 2019 Infiniti q50, with no negative equity and I drove off the lot with a new vehicle. The process was long, but when purchasing a vehicle it’s always a long process. My only concern was that my credit was ran by 4 separate banks when I specifically asked that it only be submitted with my pre approval. I will have to try and dispute those. Ultimately it wasn’t Jose’s fault because my application was no longer in his hands. My experience was amazing.

Edwin the workshop manager, yet again, as when I bought this vehicle,provided excellent service and repairs on behalf of northstar Kia. Kia manufacturers for the second time since 2019 have shown their dishonesty in failing to honor their warranty undertaking. If it were Edwin the service manager intervening to prevent the lawsuit and maintain a smooth relationship, we would have been battling in court.

I started my car buying journey at Northstar, then spent 2 weeks calling/visiting dozens of other dealers in the Tristate trying to find a better deal on the exact car I wanted. Needless to say, I arrived back at Northstar. Jordan Curry is the MAN! Car buying sucks and I paid too much, but Jordan made the process bearable and got me the best deal that available in the current market conditions. He also stuck with me through the entire process from test drive to post-sale troubleshooting. Our ‘23 Sportage Hybrid exceeded expectations. It’s the best equipped and most fun car I’ve ever owned, and the gas milage is incredible! I’m pulling EPA estimated mpg in the city and 43+ on road trips. Also, the Gravity Grey paint and EX Premium package are well worth the wait/upgrade!

After a VERY disappointing experience at Koepell Ford, nearby (wanted to artificially inflate the price of a a Ford Escape Plug-in Hybrid, SEL trim by a whole $10K, then begging to sell it to me for only a few grand over MSRP days after I told them to buzz off), drove over to this dealership where Alfons no-pressure showed me the new 2023 Kia Niro Hybrid. On our way out, we saw the 2023 Niro Plug-In Hybrid, SX Touring trim (literally came in while we were looking at the other model) and he encouraged us all to take a test drive, for as long as well wanted. Naturally, there's still a (higher) mark-up on new, (especially) electrictrifed vehicles, but it wasn't nearly as insulting as it was at Koepell and we even reached a more reasonable price point after the intial offer. I highly encourage you speak to Alfons. He's friendly, transparent, and basically allows the car to speak for itself. He calls to check in if you're not ready to buy and even after you do to see how everything is going. The business of buying a car is never going to be completely comfortable, but the fellas at this dealership did their best to take some of the sting out of the process.

Just bought a car from North Star- Kia. It was like a stroll in the park, reached the dealer in the afternoon, was supposed to go there in the morning, but Wilson took care of me like a friend, even though was meeting him for the first time. . I knew what I wanted coming in, we took a stroll to the parking lot (stroll in the park) to take a look at the model. Overall, my experience was amazing, everyone made sure I left happy. Wilson was my salesperson, and he was great with communication, and he worked with his managers to negotiate and meet my goals. The entire buying process was effortless. Wilson went over everything I could possibly need to know about the car, and with a few signatures, I was on my way by 4 pm the same Day. I will definitely send anyone I know looking for a new car to North Star Kia would highly recommend Wilson for fast and stress-free car buying experience.

From when i met him a few days prior to buying the car, we connected and he wanted to make sure we got the best deal and he took care of us. We came in right before Labor Day and there were so many people also trying to get a car, he still did an excellent job managing. He kept updating us for where we were in the process and negotiated a perfect Price for the car and insurance. I was contacted by a young brother named Adam a few days before I got my Outlander. I’ve been car searching for a while because I am big on hospitality and respect and the way he came off on the phone was as if he wanted to figure out what I needed not just get in my pockets. So that’s what’s up. I get there and we went through the typical negotiations I knew would happen but it’s all good because he didn’t try to sell me. This dealership is really amazing. When I saw the overall stars were 4.3, I was shocked as my experience with most dealerships are not great! The service department is top notch - the guy inside, whose name I didn't get, was really nice and helpful and didn't try to suggest that I get this upgrade or this service. And the other manager Anthony was really nice and offered to clean and vacuum my car for free! Plus, they also had free bagels! overall, a really clean dealership with really great people who work there. Highly recommend coming!

He took me through the process, explained the timelines, and discussed the inventory options. Orlando was constantly in touch and able to get me the car when every other dealer in 50 miles seemed to not have any for months. He even met me first thing the morning after it was received to make sure I could see it and lock in the deal. Northstar was a great experience. I walked in on a treasure hunt, and they got me insurance, title, reg., financing, and the car all within a few hours.

I have been looking to buy a new car; Jacob has made my search wonderful and painless. Previously before visiting KIA at Northstar, I test drove many different cars: Elantra, Corolla, Impreza, Civic Sport Hatchback, Ford Focus, and Mazda 3. They are all around the same price point and preform similarly. However test driving the Kia Forte, I noticed a huge leap in quality of ride and responsiveness in the transmission compared to the previously mentioned vehicles, all within the same price range. Kudos to Kia for stepping up their game. The IVT transmission makes a huge difference. Jacob helped me get the BEST deal I could ask for. None of the garbage you normally go through with most dealerships. I was offered a price and additional parts to the car that no other dealership could compete. I would highly recommend this specific dealership to my friends and family. They treat you like family here and it's a huge difference and a breath of fresh air. They are willing to negotiate, unlike other dealerships, and I was treated professionally; My opinions and concerns were taken seriously by them. I drove right out the parking lot happy with my new car. Please give them a visit or a call. Try to ask for Jacob or manager Moon! they will treat you right.

I cannot understand how they are not at 5 stars and only 4.3. This place is absolutely amazing. Everyone we met and spoke to were friendly and outgoing and put us at ease right away. I am beyond grateful EVELYN answered the phone yesterday she was helpful and understanding beyond words, after the call we ran right over and left with our car in a roughly 2/3 hours I felt terrible they stayed late but they weren't even fazed or upset just incredibly helpful and nice. I was so worried but now I cant imagine going anyway else. We are already planning on the next car we are getting there soon. Thank you all for everything I was worried and anxious but now cannot even imagine a more perfect experience. Especially loved the phone call today to check on us and the car and best yet our kids reaction too it, such an amazing and thoughtful follow up. if anyone is debating or unsure please don't hesitate and go right away you can not ask for a better place and a better person than EVELYN to work with.

If you go to this dealership you MUST ask for Adam!!! On Tuesday 4/5/22 my 2013 Kia Optima finally ran its course. I was extremely stressed and worried because I drive soo much and can not be without a car. I got Adam’s number from a friend who said he was a great guy and to be honest my first thought was “all salesmen are liars” so I was expecting the typical salesman pitch. He let me know he was leaving at 7 to which I responded “I can’t get there until 630 maybe I shouldn’t come” he insisted I still come saying he doesn’t mind waiting. Long story short this man really catered to me! I almost didn’t get the car because my insurance and he went out of his way to find me better deals- on insurance! All he’s supposed to do is sell me a car and he went ABOVE AND BEYOND. He explained in detail everything about the car, and no he didn’t “sell” me anything, he asked me questions about my life and made sure my needs were met according to what was going on in my life like how my favorite color is blue & now my car is too! He was sooo personable, kind, patient and very straight to the point with full honesty! Even after Tuesday, he’s been checking on me asking me how the car rides, if I’m happy with my purchase, if I need anything else, etc. I kept him 3hrs AFTER he was supposed to leave and he reassured me he didn’t mind and he was happy to help me. He is literally an angel and I’m going to continue to recommend him to everyone I meet who needs a car- already told 2 people to go to him! The other employees were also very nice as well. 10 stars if I could! First time I’ve ever had such an amazing experience in a car dealership before.

When my husband and I came to Northstar we were already overwhelmed of car shopping for the past 2 weeks. But as soon as we came in Sarah made us feel so welcomed and was so attentive (even to my little daughters which she provided snacks to) she understood exactly what we needed and worked with us, she explained everything and made the process so fast and easy (literally the fastest process I’ve had when purchasing a car). I called and confirmed they had the vehicle before I went. Everything was good. Price was fair. My sales agent Sarah gave me a ride to a branch to get a bank check. It felt good for the whole time. No one tried to press me to do nothing. Before I went to KIA, I also visited Honda dealership nearby. Same thing I did call to confirm the availability of the car I wanted to buy. They told me they had like four of them in stock and available. Ended up I was told nothing was available on the same day. Tried to convince me to place an order to reserve a car. Sorry. I was going to buy and pick up a car, not ordering or reserving. Thank you to Northstar. I got my car today. Excellent.

I’ve been car searching for a while because I am big on hospitality and respect and the way he came off on the phone was as if he wanted to figure out what I needed not just get in my pockets. Where should I begin! My experience at Northstar Kia was exceptional!!! Richard was very professional and knowledgeable on the vehicles and gave me a mini 101 lesson on the Kia models I was looking into. During the process I also spoke to Efrain who was also very professional and tentative to what I really wanted to drive out with. Finally I worked with John in finance and I have to say that was one of the quickest finance officers I've ever dealt with. The whole process was smooth, quick, and easy due to the teamwork between Richard, Efrain, and John. I drove off in a 2021 Sorento X-Line!!! They were amazing and I would highly recommend Northstar Kia!

I haven’t owned a car in quite some time since moving to the city and not really needing one: I must admit the whole prospect of purchasing a new car from a car salesman seemed rather daunting. Even after much research to minimize “being sold”, I walked away from a few car dealerships because I received the typical aggressive up sell you often get as a female in the market for a car. It was super refreshing to come to NorthStar and to do business with Richie. While he asked questions and made suggestions, he listened to me and gave me exactly what I wanted. He checked in to give me updates while we waited on my car to be delivered and took his time to explain and show me everything once it arrived. Even the manager, Efrain checked in to make sure the process was seamless. If you need a car, you should really go see Richie at North Star, you’ll be in good hands.

I visited several dealerships before getting to Northstar KiA. I did not understand much of the process and involvement of buying a car. From the initial call with some questions I got answers with a kind tone and patience. When we went in, Ray, the sales person, was thorough, kind, polite, had a great demeanor and listened to us without pushing. He even engaged our 7 year-old boy in the conversations. We decided to get a car here because compared to other places, we got the attention and service that people in other dealerships did not offer. Other companies seemed to be annoyed at us for not understanding much of the process or taking a minute to make up our minds and playing games to make the sale. When we dealt with Ron, the financial director, he was very patient in explaining every item of the loan. I actually enjoyed my day at the dealership and would buy from them again. I stopped into the dealership by chance, and was greeted by salesperson Jonathan King, and I knew right away that this was a person that I could deal with. He was personable and friendly, and I felt very comfortable. After a few visits to the showroom, Jonathan was able to secure the car that I was interested in leasing (Kia Soul), at a price that I was happy with. The closing process was easy and painless, and I felt that I got the best deal available. I have to say that after dealing with several sales people when purchasing a car, Jonathan was by far the easiest I came across. The next day we were contacted by their finance manager, Jon, to set up a delivery time and he let us know what documents we needed before we could officially sign the paperwork and get contactless delivery. They accepted electronic pictures of our documents and payment and gave us the documents to e-sign. Jon was extremely helpful with questions that we had since this was our first time getting a car. The same day we e-signed the paperwork, one of the sales representatives, Anthony, drove our car to us for contactless delivery. We signed the DMV paperwork (they handled this for us too!), and we were done. Really remarkable how smoothly everything went, especially since we did everything online and over the phone. My husband and I were both really impressed by the service we received, and everyone was upfront, honest, and quick to respond. Excellent customer service! As a result we now have a new Kia! It's a bit late, but it was a great experience! I bought my old Nissan Altima from the guys at Northstar KIA! Having worked in the industry before I saw at the time they had a store in its infancy and on developing into a great store. I loved what I saw and had to join in! Darwin and all his managers push the staff to do the right thing and go the extra mile for their customers! All I can say is that this review means a lot because is my true story. I was looking to purchase a 2016 Honda less than 45K miles. However, I ended up getting a 2019 400 miles first owner Mitsubishi Outlander SP 2.0 thanks to Raúl who throughout the process was always helpful and very professional. Have been here 2-3 times now but waited till today to finally write a review. I must say I felt very good with how they treated me and how Darlyn Davis spoke to me and assisted me. They have new staff and this review is relevant to the Service department, since I haven't gone to purchase yet, please keep the review in perspective. Since I've been there before I did notice a change in the staff and apparently under new management. Nevertheless I went into the show room and things looked a little different, less sales reps but they have the newest models out etc. Try them out for service and see what you think but I appreciated what was done with me.

My experience at Northstar exceeded my expectations especially since there was a small snowstorm. Enough snow to delay all services. But that was not the case. My appointment was at 8am and they promptly took care of me. The 2 service advisors that greeted were very pleasant. Friendly helpful and sweet. Definitely would recommend to everyone.

Such a great car shopping experience at Northstar Kia. Compared to other dealerships I've been to, I really appreciated the courtesy and professionalism of the staff at Northstar, specifically Vinny and John. They were patient, understanding, and really worked with me. I was referred to them from a friend and even then referred my dad because I was so pleased with their customer service. Would definitely recommend over other Kia dealerships.

This place, by FAR, was the easiest to deal with and very straight forward. I walked out of many dealerships when I felt anything was shady or there were games being played. I have little patience for it. I was ready to come in to battle it out with Northstar Kia as well but to my surprise, Jose was very accommodating and straight forward. They are all about transparency there. Not once did I feel uneasy. I was in and out the dealership in less than a hour with a deal I was extremely satisfied and happy with and peace of mind. Super super easy. They even went out their way to add a few more bells and whistles with no additional cost just because the ready date of the vehicle to be picked up was only a day behind from what they originally told me. Highly recommended to go there. Oh and just to add one more thing, dealing with John at the finance department was super easy as well. I was finished signing the papers within 15 minutes after he thoroughly explained each one and giving his personal opinions about them. Again I can’t stress enough on how great they were. Highly highly recommend. You’ll see for yourself when you get there.

Definitely a must when buying a new car. Customer service was excellent. No pushy carsalesmen very laid back and honest establishment. They even worked with us in helping donate our old car. They truly made the car buying experience as painless as possible except for the wait to see financial but they did give us the option to leave and return in 2 hours unlike other dealerships that make you wait in the waiting area for your turn. Scott and Joel are very informed and actually know the details of the car. They also didn't mind answering my 5 million questions which is always a plus. John in financial was very honest with us and helped us with all the extras and explained things very clearly. I would definitely come back to this dealership if I need another car. I never had a great experience at the car dealer like Northstar Kia. They treat their customers like family. Jose (sales rep) was amazing helping me and my two sisters choose the right vehicle. Best of all, John (finance maneger) made the closing deal a breeze. He explained the whole contract word for word and helped me and my family understand every page we had to sign. They are straight forward with no gimmicks. I cant forget the owner who tried to pull every string he had to satisfy us with the payment we expected. I will trust Northstar Kia for my next car lease or finance. Once again thank you very much Frank, John, and Jose for providing us with a wonderful service. I would definitely recommend this dealer!

The nicest customer service that I experienced in NY. I took my three little girls with me and despite of long waiting time, I am very satisfied with their service. I took my car due to leaking on fluid tank and they filled up the wash fluid too!! I didn’t expect them to filled it up so it was a big surprise for me. After the service, I went to grocery shopping and the back passenger door( power door) didn’t closed completely. Just by looking at it, it seems like closed but the system says it was opened. I called and they helped me get it fixed over the phone!!! Very helpful and kind. The only negative is the parking. I am from TN where free parking is available to most facility and every dealers have their own parking lot. So it was pretty new experience to find a dealer without parking lot. Other than parking issue, EVERYTHING WAS PUUUURFECT!!😉

Came to Northstar Kia to view a used Ford Explorer. Raul was very helpful and most importantly very upfront. I wasn’t prepared to put a full down payment on it as I was just looking at that point. I loved the car and was interested. As I started the paper work I was introduced to Efrain who was very down to earth and personable and worked with me to drive the car home that day. What can I say ? These people are amazing!! This was my first time buying a car. My credit is really bad and they still worked with me which many dealership couldn’t do. What I liked the most was that they care about their customers. Sales consultant Brian Perez provided me with an exceptional customer service. I got the 2018 Kia Rio, very comfortable car. Honestly at first I didn’t like the car, however, Brian went through all the futures of the car with me and I ended up loving the car. This is my chance to boost up my credit, thanks to Brian and manager Joel Zarzuela for all their advisethey gave me. I never thought I was going to get a brand new car having a bad credit. I’m very happy with my car and will be back in the future to upgrade my car.

Also, the woman who assisted me can't remember her name, (from Guyana) also provided great customer service. Vincent was very patient showing us different options, test driving different models, driving 10 blocks to an additional lot to see available colors for us to be fully comfortable with making our final choice. Not at any time did we feel pressured to purchase anything and they were fully transparent about the costs and different offers. I Could not be happier with the exceptional service at this location! It started the very minute I entered the store and I needed a place to park my now old car, they helped me find a place to park it way before even talking about purchasing a car. I came in with a lot of needs and wants and Vincent and Joel made sure to meet them. They took time to talk me through everything, answer all my questions, and mostly importantly do it with patience and friendliness. The staff there in general is extremely nice and professional. Had warranty work done here. They have a small work area, but I was able to drop off my van and have it fixed without any hassle. They also found an recent active recall for the doors and performed it as well. They were able to work with my schedule and I didn't have to wait too long to pickup the van.
